Turn an OrendaBox and a USB barcode scanner into a simple shared scanning screen. Open Orenda Barcode Reader from Edge Console or OrendaConnect, scan a code, and see it immediately in a clear responsive interface. The latest result stays prominent while the current session keeps a short 25-item history. The app supports compatible USB HID keyboard scanners and USB serial scanners. If more than one compatible device is approved, choose the active reader from the app. When nobody is viewing, the app stops USB reads automatically. Installation asks the Box administrator to approve USB read access for a specific connected device. The app cannot see unapproved USB hardware, does not expose host device paths, does not write scans to disk and does not send scan data over the network. It uses the existing Edge Console session, so there is no separate login.
